My name is Gene Healy. An amateur photographer trying to get better.
My home is located on the south shore of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
My favourite subjects are landscapes and flowers. Also enjoy architectural, urban and macro photography. But in truth I'll point my lens at anything that catches my eye.
I first became interested in photography in 2003 with the purchase of a Kodak CX4230 2 megapixel (MP) - 3X zoom Point and Shoot camera. It was an amazing experience.
Over the next 5 years that Kodak would be replaced by a Konica Minolta Z10 (5 MP - 8X zoom) and a Panasonic Lumix FZ30 (8 MP - 12X zoom).
Today, my kit consists of a Canon EOS 5D and 4 lens: Canon EF-24-105mm f/4L USM IS, Canon EF-70-200mm f/4L, EF-100mm f/2.8 USM Macro and the EF-50mm F/1.4 USM prime.
Please look around and explore the various galleries of photos. I would appreciate any comments, suggestions or critiques you may wish to leave in the Guest book.
Should you be interested in purchasing or licensing any of my images, you can contact me via this form.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoyed your stay and that you'll come back again soon.
