This year we took the the North shore of the Ottawa river up to Gatineau (Hull) Quebec to get to Ottawa. Stopped in Carillon to see the Dam. Once in Ottawa, besides visiting Parliament Hill, Major's Hill Park and Commissioners Park out by Dow's Lake, we also discovered Rideau Falls.
